Mr. Michael Anderson Jr., affectionately known as Mike, was a cherished figure in the lives of those who knew him. Born on September 18, 1956, in Portland, Oregon, Mike passed away peacefully on December 2, 2025, in Los Angeles, California, at the age of 69.
Mike's journey through life was marked by his unwavering commitment to family and community. He was a proud graduate of Portland High School and earned a degree in Business from Oregon State University. His career spanned 35 years as a logistics manager, where he was known for his honest leadership and dedication to his work.
A veteran of the U.S. Navy, Mike's spirit of service extended beyond his military tenure. He was a warm and patient soul, always ready to lend a helping hand. His passions included fishing, gardening, woodworking, and enjoying classic rock music, which brought joy to his life and those around him.
Mike found immense happiness in spending time with his family, particularly his beloved grandchildren, and relished in Sunday barbecues filled with laughter and love. He is survived by his wife, Lisa Anderson, of Anaheim, California, and his daughter, Sarah Anderson.
A funeral service will be held on December 5, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Grace Memorial Chapel, 1204 Sunset Blvd, Los Angeles, CA. Following the service, family will gather to celebrate Mike's remarkable life. His legacy of kindness and forgiveness will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know him.
