Mr. Blythe Anderson Jr., affectionately known as Bly, passed away peacefully on December 3, 2025, in Austin, Texas, at the age of 67. Born on July 15, 1958, in Austin, Bly’s life was a beautiful tapestry woven with love, kindness, and dedication.
Blythe was the cherished son of a close-knit family, and he grew up surrounded by warmth and support. He graduated from Dallas Central High School and earned a degree in Business Administration from Texas State University. For over 35 years, he served as a logistics manager, known for his integrity, leadership, and unwavering commitment to mentoring young employees.
His gentle and compassionate nature made him a beloved figure among family and friends. Blythe had a passion for fishing, gardening, and woodworking, often found enjoying quiet mornings on his porch with a good book. He was known for his warm smile and welcoming spirit, always ready to lend a helping hand or share a story.
Blythe is survived by his loving daughter, Linza Anderson, in Austin, Texas, and mourned by all who had the privilege of knowing him, including his late brother, Robert Anderson.
A Funeral Service will be held on December 10, 2025, at 10:00 AM at St. Mary’s Community Church, 1458 Sunset Drive, Austin, Texas. A Memorial Service will follow on December 12, 2025, at Peaceful Horizons Chapel, 2984 Oceanview Blvd, San Diego, California, where guests are invited to share personal stories. A Celebration of Life will be held on December 15, 2025, at Riverstone Hall, 441 Palm Avenue, Miami, Florida, where guests are encouraged to wear bright colors in honor of Blythe’s vibrant spirit.
