Xyla Koch Obituary

Published on Dec 03, 2025

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Nisi quisquam do par Xyla Koch, affectionately known as Nyssa Morrison, who left us too soon at the tender age of 4. Born on January 8, 2021, in Byram, Connecticut, Nyssa brought immense joy and love to her family and community. She departed this world on December 3, 2025, in Adams, American Samoa, leaving a profound impact on the hearts of those who knew her.

Nyssa was a bright spark in the lives of her family, including her cherished spouse, Cole Potter, and loving partner, Clare Banks. She is also survived by her beloved family members, Wang Aguirre and spouse Shelby Colon, who will forever remember the joy she brought into their lives.

Though her time was brief, Nyssa's spirit was vibrant. Her hobbies and interests reflected her curious nature, and her personality shone through in every interaction, leaving behind beautiful memories for all who were fortunate enough to know her.

A memorial service to celebrate Nyssa's life will be held on December 11, 2025, at 10:00 AM at St. Mary’s Memorial Chapel in Bristol, Connecticut.

In this time of sorrow, let us remember Nyssa's light and the love she shared with us all. May her memory continue to inspire kindness and joy in our hearts.
